Kim Frankental is the founder and creative director of Maison. The South African mother of two always envisioned a design studio which created whimsical wallcoverings designed for childrens’ spaces without compromising sophistication.

Maison was the brainchild of this idea, offering a bit of magic with a refined touch. The collections are greatly inspired by the natural world, whether it be a flower in bloom or a landscape fit for imaginative daydreaming. Kim actively partners with talented artists and illustrators who bring her vision to life. The artworks undergo a meticulous process of hand-drawn and painted elements, after which each element is brought together to create a backdrop of beauty and wonder.
